The overarching goal of the organization’s programming is to provide the youth with a program that introduces, tennis, which is an
uncommon sport for the region. TIA will expose the participants to an athletic sport, which they may never have had, through its
tennis program. Research also shows that athletic programs are a mechanism for how to be successful in other areas of life
namely school. Sports build confidence and show that even if you do not have success in the classroom you can still be
successful in sports. The idea and proven record is that if you keep working on athletic skills over time you will improve and you
can take from that sport what you learned and use it in other areas of life.

TIA will partner with local coaches, facilities, clubs, and youth to form clinics that will run two 6-week training sessions. After which,
a review will be undertaken to identify skilled individuals for placement into respective programs. This will either be with local clubs
or with tailored training programs from local coaches.
